I took a chance on this set for my home studio after seeing it recommended online. The lacquer duo matches the gel formula surprisingly well, which usually isn’t the case with paired sets. I used the regular lacquer on my own toes and saved the gel for my clients. The brush design is wide and curved, covering the whole nail bed in about two smooth strokes. It dried pretty fast under my LED lamp without shrinkage around the tips. Honestly, it has become one of my most requested nude shades this month.
I make handmade products and often have to photograph myself holding them. I wanted my nails to look neat but didn’t want a color that changed the focus of the images. Dust Storm worked perfectly for my product photos. I ended up using the same manicure for several shoots.
I wore this to dinner with friends, and one of them thought I had gotten a professional manicure that same day. The color has a very clean and refined appearance.
I was hosting six people for dinner and had spent most of the day cooking. I did my nails the night before because I knew I wouldn’t have time on the day. This color looked lovely while setting the table and serving food. One of my guests asked about the shade while we were cleaning up.
