1. Make sure you look straight up (not backward) when you tape and don't chat during the procedure. 2. Keep the gel pads at least 2-3mm (about the width of a crayon tip) away from the client's waterline. 3. Take two strips of micropore tape approximately an inch and a half long and place them in a V shape along the lash line on top of the gel pad to keep any extra lashes in place. 4. Be sure not to feel any pinching or pain when you close your eyes. Then, with their eyes closed, gently pull the tape and pads to readjust. Pro Tips: -Some gel pads have a propensity to expand or "melt" when exposed to moisture and become heated. Keeping the pad as far away from the waterline as possible helps to avoid this from happening.
